Johnny Manziel’s former girlfriend is claiming that the Browns quarterback struck her so hard that her ear drum ruptured.
Colleen Crowly’s attorney issued the statement Monday morning.
The incident reportedly took place on January 30th, but Crowly only recently filed the complaint on Friday. Crowley still cannot hear out of her ear, Dallas-Fort Worth station NBC5 reports.
Crowley filed for a protective order against Manziel in Tarrant County, Texas. The order was granted, forcing Manziel to cease contact with her for two years.
In the affidavit, Crowly claims that she pleaded with the hotel valet on the night of the incident, saying:
“Please don’t let him take me. I’m scared for my life.”
Manziel then took Crowly to the car and forced her into the passenger seat. Crowly escaped the vehicle shortly afterwards and hid in some nearby bushes. Manziel drove to her location, and after confronting her, hit Crowly’s ear with his open hand so hard that her ear drum burst, the affidavit states.
Crowly claims she is still concerned for her well being.
