Jack Nicklaus Gets Stopped By Security At Augusta

Six-Time Masters champion Jack Nicklaus decided to give fans an inside look at what it’s like to drive up Magnolia Lane to the most famous clubhouse in all of golf. The Golden Bear was filmed by a person sitting in his passenger seat as he entered the hallowed Augusta National Golf Club grounds.

The first set of security immediately recognized the greatest golfer of all time and waved him through after some polite chitchat. The next security guard Nicklaus encountered wasn’t quite as quick to recognize who he was dealing with, and a humorous moment ensued.

The security guard asked to see Nicklaus’ badge, which apparently caught him off-guard.

“Mine?” Nicklaus asked, seemingly taken aback.

“Yes sir,” the guard answered.

When Nicklaus showed the guard the badge, he immediately realized who he was dealing with and apologized profusely.

“No Problem. You don’t have to apologize, you’re doing your job,” Nicklaus replied.

After Nicklaus sails through another checkpoint, the video ends with one of the passengers asking “why are they so nice to you?”

“I don’t know,” Nicklaus responds.

I think I might have an idea.

What do you think?
