Villanova’s thrilling 77-74 NCAA win was certainly one for the ages. Kris Jenkins nailed a buzzer beating three-pointer to crush Tar Heel hearts around the nation and send Villanova fans into absolute pandemonium. The wild finish earned the Wildcats their first NCAA title since 1985.
Jenkins’ buzzer-beater wasn’t the only incredible shot in the final seconds of the game. North Carolina’s Marcus Paige drained a three to tie the game with just 4.7 seconds left.
It looked like the game was headed for overtime, but Villanova had other ideas. Ryan Arcidiacono drove the ball up the floor before dishing it off to Jenkins at the last possible second. As exciting of a play as it was, there was only one thing that made it even better: Hearing the call as performed by Villanova’s announcers.
When the ball fell through the hoop, Villanova announcer Scott Graham and Brian Finneran (of Atlanta Falcons fame) completely lost their minds. It’s not often you hear such pure, unfiltered joy on live television.

I think every Villanova fan out there can totally relate with how Graham and Finneran were feeling. Enjoy it Villanova, you earned it.
