Russell Westbrook Wanted All Eyes On Him Before Game 2

Russell Westbrook stole the show in game one of the Western Conference Finals. Curry and the Warriors simply couldn’t keep up with the Thunder point guard down the stretch in what was a close but unattractive game. Westbrook had a game-high 27 points, with most of them coming during a very impressive second half.

The Thunder certainly weren’t expected to win game one, but doing so has them sitting pretty with an opportunity to take a 2-0 series lead back to Oklahoma. If the Thunder have any shot at repeating Monday’s success, Westbrook will need to make a big mark on the game. Before either team even took the court for warm-ups, he made sure everyone knew he had entered the building.

In a move as unique as the man himself, Westbrook decided to walk into Oracle Arena wearing a tattered white tank top with a big hole over the stomach.

A strange decision, but the message is clear: It may be Steph Curry’s building, but Westbrook set on once again stealing the spotlight.
